Boys Don't Cry

Ten year old boy
burying his father forever
though he knows reality
after this day, he won't see him ever

his mother passed away
when he was just five
left with insane elder sister
the only reason to fight life

little boy never knew
the cruelty of society
but boys are not supposed to cry
no matter how hard life turns out to be

day by day he struggled
harder than yesterday
took life as it came
as there was no other way
his innocence was murdered everyday
but that little hope inside his heart
always incouraged him to give a try
and never did he forgot the fact
being a boy, he is not supposed to cry

after being slave for years
he finally reached teen
nobody has even ever imagined
what this boy in his life has seen

everynight before going to sleep
he used to stare at stars
fantasizing a little better future
& past which has been full of scars

and then from somewhere came a girl
one who just loved him for what he is
she never knew anything about his past
just entered his world like fairies

for the first time he felt what is love
for the first time with a smile he looked above

little boy never knew
love comes, love goes but curse stays forever
no matter how hard life turns out to be
but boys are not supposed to cry, never

this world is not meant for him
he knew it since he was five
but still struggled all the way through
for his sister who is no more alive

she has died yesterday
just couldn't take the way her brother is living in pain
she know she can't help him
or save him from the price he is paying for her being insane

now its his turn as he feels so alone
for the ones he need are all gone
but no matter how he decide to die
he knows being a boy, he just cant cry
