My Love Story

You were my friend it was no big deal.
But after a while I started to feel.

We talked for hours always on the phone.
Without you I felt very alone.

Months went by, and I thought I was in love.
Hoping someday to be together like all the stars above.

I treated you good, but you treated me bad.
The things you did made me really sad.

Even after all the things you put me through,
I told you I would always love you.

I tried to move on, because you were never kind.
But for some reason your always on my mind.

At times things would seem alright.
But what about the times you made me cry all night?

They all warned me it would happen again.
But I loved you and didn't want to believe them.

Now it's over, but my love for you will always be.
