I dare you

by nO1cOmPaReS2yOu   Feb 1, 2006

I dare you to look into my eyes and find me.
The real me.
She hides behind this carefree smile I have.
Can't you see it's all a front?
I talk to fill the silence,
Because in that silence, the girl who I am emerges.
&& She's not good enough to meet you.
If you only looked deep into my soul.
Don't you know that when I'm alone,
I just sit in cry.
This girl on the inside,
Longing to be free.
She's so sad and lonely,
Praying for someone,
An angel,
To come and unmask her.
Tenderly, piece by piece,
Unlock her and unwrap her.
The pieces of her wrapped in fine velvet,
And begin to reveal her slowley.
But until then,
she remains veiled,
Patiently waiting for her angel.
