Trent the Terror

My little brother and I don't always get along
but it's for him that I'm writing this song.
He loves to agitate me and act like a maniac
but when he tells me he loves me I always say it back.
He distorts the truth and lies
to hide his ignorance inside.
Whenever he commits a crime
I'm the one who pays the fine.
He always controls the t.v to play his video game
but if it was me who got home first I know I'd do the same.
People don't always react too well to all his hyper ways
but look at me, I've survived it oh, how many days?
He always interrupts converstions and never apologizes
I think it's safe to say his volume's up too many sizes.
He sings so loud in church the congregation listens in awe
His voice just carries so well he drowns out the rest of them all.
Even though he's abnoxious, pshchotic and lame
He's my brother, and I still love him just the same.
Sometimes he acts like an android, like he's made of steel
but inside he's like a kaleidoscope, beautiful, hidden, but real.
Even after we get arthritis and begin to grow old I want him to know,
he's my brother and I love him, I'm never letting him go.
