Left Among the Thorns (Etheree)

Hope
falters
gracefully
from within as
I watch love bloom like
a crimson rose between
my heart's desire and the
beholder of evil engaged
in a rhapsody of bliss while I'm
left among the thorns of what could've been

* This is my first attempt at writing this style.
