Boredom

by Tim Fleckney   Mar 9, 2006

The trees are dying
Shedding green tears of
Agony and rage
Sex starved meadow nymphs
Frolic through the chaos

Endless yawning chasms
Rain molten death on
Brain washed suits
Hungry masses limp
Through life carrying
Meager bundles of
Worthless dreams

High above the
Steelworker raises
A sardonic eyebrow
And spits in the wind
Confused the sea people
Bow down before Gods
Who no longer care

Satan yawns in
Boredom
