A Song That Nobody Knows

by HOLLYWOODxBANGBANG   Mar 10, 2006

She lays down all broken inside
A heart slowly decaying she tries to hide
She feeds it what it wants, never lets it down
In a canteen of whiskey it does drown
A cracked smile beneath her lips of coal
Barbed wire fencing encasing the bullet hole
Blood red nails on her fingertips
Crimson tears seeping out from her chapped up lips
A gun trembling in her treacherous hands
On her own two feet, she tries to stand
Walks out the door and through the back yard
tumbling, she hits her head on the unforgiving rock so hard
Her porcelain cheeks crack all in one place
As the toxic tears stream down her face
Her soul is bruised and shattered, trying to escape
As she lays on the cold hard ground beyond the police tape
Blood is splattered all around
All along the frost covered ground
A grave is dug and filled with dirt
In it, her corpse lays inert
So find her a shovel and dig the hole deep
But please darling, don't you weep
Go back to the house, walk into her room
The place that encouraged her to fall to her doom
Underneath all the pillows fluffed up
You will find a note that explains why she is so f ucked
She drank the cyanide to let go of her fears
With herself, she gave the cheers
Revenge for those who have hurt her so
For what she was feeling inside, no one had known
So dig the grave and dig it deep
Make room for her soul to keep
Find a halo to match her scabbed wings
Give her a harp and other angelic things
And in the dark where nobody goes
She will be playing a song that nobody knows
A sadistic s lut once so innocent and pure
Found death to be the only cure
An ecstasy of love along the dotted lines
Poured in a bottle along with the whiskey and wine
Eyes bloodshot and red, traced with dark eyeliner
The baby blue in her eyes coming out so much finer
Liquidized along with the mascara and black eye shadow
From dusk till dawn wearing the wilted rose petal
Neck creaking with every movement she makes
Mirror image of a Barbie face so fake
The shadows pass her by everyday on the street
Not once ever stopping for a greet
She sits in the silhouetted corner where nobody goes
Playing a song that nobody knows.
