X Hangman

I stand on the hill, watch a beautiful sunset
Head bowed, accpeting my fate
I've done nothing wrong, and yet
Because I'm different it's me they hate

A soldier appears, and grabs my hair
Drags me through the muddy shallows
I'm a nobody, why should he care?
As he forces me onto the gallows

Around my neck, a single noose
And the crowd draw a breath
As the block underneath my feet is kicked loose
And a cheering crowd witness my death

The rope tightens, my breaths are sharp
My legs kick in vain
And from the Earth I unwillingly part
My vision, blinded by absolute pain

For months, my body turns to dust
My bones rattle in the evening breeze
My death was needless, and unjust
But at least now I'm at peace.

Really great job, a couple parts the flow broke, but it didnt seem to do any harm, as usual, great work!
