So he's the cause.

by Jon Hunt   Mar 29, 2006

So he's the cause;
For trouble and the pain,
But he's the savior;
It's driving you insane.

And now he is warmer,
Shows he is loving and kind,
But later; abusive, angry,
You had better make up your mind.

Maybe you love him,
You said you do,
But how can you love this?
What he puts you through.

So you come to me,
Your thoughts distressed,
You hate him now,
Your life's a mess.

And you say some things you shouldn't do;
That this love you found is truly dead,
There will never be another way, never has,
You will just let go instead.

And "please!" I cry,
You're making a mistake,
This love you fear;
It is not real, only fake.

You do not know true love,
But nor do I,
But believe you will,
And please, please just try.

For I wouldn't lie to you,
I couldn't; I'll be true,
There's much that you can do,
To try and crawl through.

And you will emerge with stronger soul,
Win this fight, and realize your goal,
To find a love which you can nurture,
One that holds you strong all throughout your future.

    The peice s very good, good structure and rhyming thoughout. the flow is mainly smooth, though there are a few rougth patches they quickly recover.

    The rhyming in this poem is good but the rhythm could do with a little tweaking here and there, theres a few too many syllables in a couple of lines which interrupts the flow, but it was still a great read! xx
