Oh my gosh I love this poem. I can relate to it and fully understand where it is coming from. I been wanting to write a poem like this for the longest, but I feel like you heaved the words right off my lips, that's what makes it so special. Excellent job!

"This rough patch isn't ending
The edges have gone past 'frayed'
Blank smiles when I look to you
This friendship has decayed"

Im sorry to hear the situation hasn't improved...friendships are always hard to lose, especially when you're wathcing it happen and it seems like there's nothing you can do to fix it.
