I Just Skate

by glass*wall*prison   Apr 4, 2006

I've been called a menace,
I've been told i don't belong
I've been called an outcast.
cause my passion to skate is strong.

You can find me in the lot,
with a bunch of my friends.
Just because we love to skate,
doesn't mean we'll break in.

People think a bunch of adoloscents
skating in the parking lot.
Are there to rape, pillage, and plunder
everything they've got.

Listen, were out there,
doing what we love.
We're not there to cause trouble,
and were not doing drugs.

So, while the rest of society
is moving foward.
All we want to do
is skateboard.

Good poem. It's great that you have such a passion for skating. I hate when people judge. I really enjoyed reading this because i can relate. Keep writing.
