Now it's over

by David Marshall   Apr 5, 2006

Now it's over,
I'm done with your virulent lies.
I know I loved you,
blinded with these vibrant cries.

To break my heart,
was all you contrive.
Soul ripped apart,
how will I survive.

I reiterated the phrase,
''I love you''.
Now that it's over,
what will I do.

Here I wonder,
No longer sober.
Here I ponder,
It really is over.

Great poem! Short but sweet =p
The language you used is great, I don't know what half the words mean lol but it is very effective. Take care,

You use words very well in this poem, making easily understood images. I enjoyed this a lot.
