Fading Love

How could i keep the connection
how could i have lost you
You were my singled out Perfection
It hurts that i lost you

To have loved you forever
To see your love fade away
My love was forever and ever
While mine grew pale the next day

Because you say we grew dull
It just wasn't like it us to be
When i still loved you Full
it was just you not loving me

I may still be with Katie
but half my heart is yours
because Katie is a maybe
while i said I'm forever yours

That umbrella i protect you with
Is my heart and living soul
my love is no myth
Its something you can hold

Once you hold me
you will hold my love
Once you leave me
you'll see your fading love
