(But it was all just a lie)

He said I deserved so much better...
(But it was all just a lie)

He said he loved me with all of his heart...
(But it was all just a lie)

He said that without me, he would fall apart...
(But it was all just a lie)

He said that he revolved around me...
(But it was all just a lie)

He said that I was the only one he wanted to see...
(But it was all just a lie)

He said that he could tell me anything...
(But it was all just a lie)

He said that he could trust me with almost everything...
(But it was all just a lie)

He said that he would always be there...
(But it was all just a lie)

He said that he really did care...
(But it was all just a lie)

He said I was special to him...
(But it was all just a lie)

He said our love would never go dim...
(But it was all just a lie)
