Why do you believe
My little masquerade
This little illusion
Of me, that I've made

Can't you even see
The tears in my eyes
Dried up water streams
That I can't disguise

Do you really think
That I prefer to be alone
Wallowing in my pain
That, to you, is unknown

You know that I'm real
And have feelings just like you
So why do you believe
That I'm never blue
