It's Okay To Cry (Song)

by ShhhhItsASecret©   Jul 27, 2006

(Chorus)
It's okay to cry
When your feeling blue
You've gotta let it out
Before it's overdue

You can't keep everything
Bottled inside so deep
You need to take some time
And let yourself weep

(Verse One)
When something goes wrong
And it hurts you so
You need to go home
And let your feelings show

Crawl into your bed
And think about your day
Let the tears flow down
Knowing it didn't go your way

(Chorus)
It's okay to cry
When your feeling blue
You've gotta let it out
Before it's overdue

You can't keep everything
Bottled inside so deep
You need to take some time
And let yourself weep

(Verse Two)
Just know that tomorrow
You can start over new
Just get through today
And I'll be here for you

You can cry on my shoulder
I'll wipe away those tears
You can let it all out
As I lend you my ears

(Chorus)
It's okay to cry
When your feeling blue
You've gotta let it out
Before it's overdue

You can't keep everything
Bottled inside so deep
You need to take some time
And let yourself weep

It's okay...

I don't usually write songs, so please be honest in your commentary. I'd really like to know how to make it better. I'm also not finished with it, so if you think it ends abruptly, that's why. Thanks :)

You did a great job on this!! The rhyming was perfect, and there was definitely a good flow. Write another song -- you`re good at it!!
