If Only One Person Cared...

Walking down the street
Tears flooding my eyes
No one even notices
That I'm out of my disguise

They walk right by
As if I am just a tree
I'm nothing to them
And never will be

I take out a knife
For all to see
I place it on my wrist
And watch my blood run free

They are oblivious
To what I've done
They walk right by without a glance
Proving to me, I have no one

I walk up to a girl
Shove my wrist in her face
But she ignores me
And walks by with such grace

I can't take it anymore
All these people do not care
They have their own lives
Their own pain to bare

I sit on the ground
Look up to the sky
And pray to the lord
That he'll let me die

I look to my left
Amazed at what I've found
Lying next to me
Is a gun on the ground

I pick up the gun
Say my final prayer
I then pull the trigger
And end my despair

    Been there, its not fun, death isnt pretty and the closer you get the more it hurts.

    The poetry itself wasnt bad, a bit raw maybe. You do show potential, so keep writing! It would be a pity to throw it away.

    Oh my, that was really depressing! it made me really sad, i hope the person you are writing about isnt you or anyone else for that matter. Its so bad that people only ever see there pain, and no one elses. Its happened to me many times, be strong.
