Sometimes

Sometimes my life gets on top of me,
it is quite hard as the eldest of 3,
but i don't let things get me down just to keep my feet on the ground.

Sometimes love hurts so much, but we just long for one more touch.

sometimes we feel like we can give no more, and grind ourselves to the floor.

Sometimes i think of friends who've been and gone and family members on the run.

sometimes we feel we can't go on, and most of us turn to our mum.

many thing's that we all feel just make life seem that bit more real.....

    I think this is a very truthful poem, especially about turning to your mum when things get tough.
    On the line "Sometimes i think of friends who've bin and gone..." It should be "been."
    I liked it, it was a touching and original write.

    I liked this one. Short and simple. Loved this line; "Sometimes love hurts so much, but we just long for one more touch." Thats very true. Theres people in bad relationships, And it hurts so much. But they keep coming back to feel there touch. Awesome poem hun. Keep it up! 5/5
