A river of my shattered core

by Mrs Reynolds- far from fixed   May 22, 2006

Traveling this path, alone
Tears fall from my weary eyes
I need the next direction to be shown
But I cannot see through this web of lies

You hold a hand out
Cant reach through the protective walls I built
Things I think fall into my mouth making me shout
You hurt me; but its me that feels guilt.

Its me thats left unsatisfied
Dont shut me out, I need a guide
I want to be attached to you, dont set me free
My tears weigh me down and drown me.

Each tear takes a little part of me and it will pour
Into a stream, a river of bits of my shattered core.

I cannot see through this fog of lies while I cannot be freed of this web of lies. Good writing though it needs a little work.
