A lost Soul

by David   May 31, 2006

Brought up in a world, her job was a game
Treated like a test, she hid no shame,
Violent, abusive, shed seen the lot,
This was her life, its all she got,

She never had a birthday, shed never been born
A number on a page, then sold into porn
Love didnt exist, her world craved hate,
The people around, said she was a mistake

There was no Romeo, to sweep her off her feet,
Buy her a necklace, shower her with treats,
Show her the love, she desired so much,
A hug, a kiss, a meaningful touch,

The look in her eyes, it would almost kill,
Shed given into life, she lost her own will
She laid back, a routine, its all that she knew
A soul destroyed, by a selfish few

This was something really good. It portrayed something different. I really enjoyed this one. It just had some dark imagery. Cool word play. Nice content.
