Chasing these memories
Remembering all the lies
Putting behind decit
Trying to make a new life
Recovering from the pain
Getting back upon my feet
Caring for others
Not realizing what I needed
Tripping on your stories
Effort to forget the past
Running from your power
Hoping things wouldn't last
Thinking - everlasting hope -
Dreaming for something more
Wondering for better things
Not wanting to go back to before
A broken record of trial
Forever it might play
Here, in this broken world,
Here, I'm meant to stay.
Here, my face falls in pain,
Here, washed away by my tears,
Here, my end comes to reality,
Here, the break of sanity.
