Seasons of Love

by Jessica   Jun 14, 2006

On that hot summer day
We relaxed on the warm beaches
Your skin lightly tanned
Your olive eyes shining
Brightly in the light
And a smile of love
Just for me..

As the leaves turned to fire
In the colorful season of autumn
We spent cozy nights
Wrapped in each others arms
Snuggled in warm blankets
And staring into one another's eyes..

That cold gray winter
We heard the news of your disease..
Every day we spent time together
Gluing back together
The pieces of our broken hearts
Before you left me forever more..

That spring
I walked along slowly
Remembering our times together
And carrying a red rose
The symbol of our love
To your grave..

That was a bit sad. I really liked how you worded this. Cause, although it sounded abit sad, you made it have this warm feeling to it. Really good job! 5/5 =D
