Unknown by Many

Nobody cared and never cried
For the daughter dying inside,
Laws of guilt the soul did abide,
In the mirror, truth could not hide,

Nobody cared and never heard,
Sniffling tears of the caged bird,
Writing down a sacred word,
Until her vision blurred,

Nobody cared and never felt,
Sorrow for the hand God had dealt,
Upon her pillow tears did melt,
Side of the bed, she had knelt,

Nobody knew she was abused,
Neither that she had been used,
Emotionally she was still bruised,
Walking free was the boy accused,

Nobody cared and never cried,
For the daughter dying inside,
Laws of guilt the soul did abide,
In the mirror, truth could not hide.

This was a fairly well written poem. It was deep and I could feel the pain portrayed through the words. I could also relate very well to what you are going through. Thank you for your comment on my poem, as always it is very much appreciated! Keep your head high and keep writing! Take care. 5/5

  • Very well, your rymes were well set and how you were able to point out the major things. I loved how it was, and the way your poem is written.
