She comes to her sences.

by facedownindirt   Jun 29, 2006

She looks at me,
and fakes a smile.
Then turns away,
to cry awhile.

She walks aways,
to be alone.
So none of her tears,
can ever be shown.

In her heart.
Deep inside.
She knows she's change.
It cannot hide.

Her ugly reflection
in the beautiful river,
stares back at her,
as hate makes her shiver.

She looks at herself
deep in the eye.
Then all of the noises
suddenly die.

All of the voices
in her head,
finally stop.
Nothing is said.

Her heart beats slower
you can't hear her breath.
All of her thoughts,
are finally relived.

The wind blows calmly,
through the tall trees.
Then she slowly
bends to her knees.

She bows her head,
and closes her eyes,
folds her hands,
and softly cries.

In her mind,
she says a prayer.
Asking back her life,
and a heart to share.

When she's done
she wipes the tears,
then quickly calms down
from all of her fears.

She's stronger now.
Not so dim.
And slowly realizes,
to forget about h i m.

Morgan I like to make honest comments, you are talented way beyond your years the only neg. I see are a few grammar and spelling errors they would be just quick corrections, but they would make your poem read so much better. I go back and edit mine a lot.Check my "celestial tears" and you will see what I mean.
