The Beauty Of Music

by Samantha Hollywood   Jul 9, 2006

A beautiful word
but one of which has no meaning

not because it does not exist
but because it can mean anything

To some, just a sound
But to many,
A definition of life

are not only "words to a song"
but inspirational dialogue

Bach, Motzart
not only composers nor
musical terms
but the building blocks
the what has become the biggest success
of all time

The only thing
that can be offending,
flattering, loving,
hated, and sincerely

All in one piece.
Can capture the heart of a young girl
and forever hold her high
Knowing that anything is possible

can change any person
nothing to a
Because all it beholds
can not be placed into words
there is no adjective
worthy of such notability
to describe it
no word
could hold so much meaning

speaks for itself
as should every human
because we too
hold a definition
that nothing but
can bring out.

And that
Is the Beauty of Music

Ahh! I see the passion you have put into this poem! And it's a terrific gift to have, passion is. I loved how you used music as sort of a metaphor (I think).

The flow was very good in some places, and quite weak in others. But great job, all the same. =) 5/5

I play six different instruments myself so this really spoke to me. A great job... I didn't much like the rhyming, but it was unique.
