It's Dance

by Megan   Jul 16, 2006

As the dances across my skin
Droplets of blood begin to
Ooze from underneath it's feet...
I lay my head back as the
Pain begins to flow out...

I swore I'd never do it again...
But I'm so entranced by it...
I enjoy the site of my blood
Dripping down my arm...

As it's dance becomes
More violent more blood
Begins to poor down my
Thin scarred arm...
It's as if a door has
Been opened...

I swore I'd never do it again...
But I know you never believed
A word I said that day...
You knew I wasn't that strong...
Or at least you would when
You saw my body on the floor...
Rigid and covered in dried blood

I like the last verse the best, but the second is the most relatable. =]
