Don't judge me

I see you looking at me
What just because I'm not like you
All because I don't wear the clothes you wear
Or maybe it's because of my hair

My style is mine, My personality is mine
Whether you like me or not, I really do not care
You will try your hardest to put me at the end of the line
But, why is it my attitude you can not bear

I am not here to please you, nor am I here to speak to you
The things i do are for me, not for you
You don't like my shoes, well guess what, I don't care
I'm not a toy I'm simply an image of something you wish you were

Why should I get treated differently just because I'm different
I have the right to figure out who I am
I also have the right, to speak my mind
So, as I go I will leave you with this

I am who I am, nothing less
I'm going to stand tall and keep my pride
I am going to try and be at my best
Because, as for me. this is all I can be

    I like the attitude in this poem. It shows that you do not care what other people think about you. And that you will not sink down to other people's level. Awesome job on this. =D

    This isn't my favorite of yours, but it did give out some feeling. I am a tough critic, though, so don't feel bad about me not liking it to much.
