Crying myself to sleep

by XxFallenxFromxGracexX   Jul 19, 2006

It happened again, I cried myself to sleep last night
Tears uncontrollable, I was unable to fight

Little rivers running down my face
Branching into ponds on my pillow case
My pulse was strong; I heard it beating in my ears
As I violently cried away all of my fears
I was scared that if I did not stop I would soon shed blood
And drown in a self made crimson flood
But yet I kept crying even though my eyes felt raw
I heard small, heavy teardrops hitting the wooden floor
I felt myself drifting into an unconscious state
My mind was falling asleep, it could no longer wait
So the last tear fell down my wet cheek
And I slowly fell into a deep sleep

It happened again, I cried myself to sleep last night
Tears uncontrollable, I was unable to fight
