Looking up at the sky
Remembering our first converstion
On a dark lonely path,
Stars were there to shine the way
Where you and I once walked
Hand in hand, we smiled

Now there are no stars
The path is dark
I walk alone.
With gleaming tears in my eyes
I wonder what happened to us?
We dont even know...

    I really liked how these two stanza contrasted. One happy, one sad. That really made this poem strong. Great effect, great write.
