What We Fear the Most

by SweetxMisery   Jul 27, 2006

Revealing how you feel isn't always easy
your feelings you may refuse to show
you tell yourself that every thing's ok
but really your at an all time low
& deep down inside you hide your true feelings
& the truth is your tired of being on your own

You'd really love to be the one who has someone
someone to hold & to talk to
just so you don't have to admit that your really alone
behind the fake smile you tell yourself the show must go on
but eventually even the strongest person falls apart
it's time to admit the truth & make a new start
this time there will be no lying
no more trying to escape
& even if you feel like hiding
it's the risk that you have to take

After all the tears there is laughter
& in time the pain becomes a distant memory
the mistakes are something to learn from
& you'll be amazed at your recovery
you can say that you regret ever falling
& everything in between
but sometimes we say things we really don't mean
eventually you will see past this & move on
& realize that there is a fine line separating happiness & sadness
& that life really does go on.
