Maybe I...

by Nelle   Jul 30, 2006

How could you do this to me
How could you forget about me and flee

Why did you do what you did
Why did you make the biggest sin

Do you know how many people you hurt
Do you know you just threw all of our love in the dirt

Is this what you wanted, to be missed
Is this what you wanted, was to be dissed

When you took those pills didn't you think?
When you had that bottle did you even blink?

You left us here to live in fear
You left us here with all of our tears

Maybe, I should be like you and give up too
Maybe, I should be like you and forget about what's true

As for now, I will miss you forever
As for now, you I will always treasure

I hate you for doing this to us
I hate you for leaving us in the dust

I love you for telling me bye
I love you for not telling me a lie

Wow, this poem has so many streams of different emotions all collided. I love how each stanza you have the same beginning.

It was very sad, and please don't give up... Life's hard, we all know that, but we gotta stay strong and survive. Keep up the great work hun!

I think you did a pretty good job on this! The rhyming, grammar, and spelling was perfect. The first couple of stanzas didn`t really have a steady poem ;; which is why I docked you.

"Maybe, I should be like you and give up too
Maybe, I should be like you and forget about what's true"

GREAT lines! I loved it. 4/5, keep it up!!!

    Love Much,
