You were there for me

I remember when i was a happier person.
I remember those lunches when you did your comedy skits!
I looked forward to lunch everyday at school.
You were my best friend and you still remain that way!

I also remember when you moved schools. I felt so lonely without my best friend to make me laugh at lunch! I thought why did she leave me! Was it because she didn't like me? But back then I didn't understand that it was her parents chose only that she had to leave me and it hurt. I started to hang out with people who later in high school are the ones who you wanted to know if you wanted to get drunk or get drugs from. But for 3 years you where no where in sight. I never saw you I never talked to you.

But that one day before high school started on that sunny day for guard tryouts I saw you. I was so happy that right here is my best friend! Once we saw each other we were never seen without one another!

We talked about the times we never talked and never saw each other. I see you grown up to be a different person then in 6th grade. But you still have your sense of humor that is for sure. And many ways I'm a different person also.

Now that we are going to be Juniors I find myself slowly going into a shell of depression. Things have happened to me that i have chosen not to talk to people about. Maybe then I wouldn't be the different person that you are starting to not like.

But you where there for me no matter what. What with my parents fighting all the time to then staying with me through the process of my parents divorce. You were always there for me. A person who I could talk to and person i could laugh and a person i could cry with.

Yes you have had your ups and your downs and so have I, but I think we will get through this nasty swamp of troubles and come out on top and our friendship will be better then ever.

You were there for me and I will never forget all the things that you did for me. You are the best friend anyone could ask for.
