When you love someone

The first time you held me in your arms,
I knew that moment id fall for your charms,

I was lost and alone,
Trying to grow,
Making my way down,
That long winding road.

I had no reason no rhyme,
Like a bad song out of time,
When your beautiful sight
Caught my eye.

Then you came into my world,
Gave me reason to care,
For when i needed you,
you were to be there.

Babe like a flower needs rain,
I need you to help my pain,
Without you in my life,
I wouldn't be the same.

Your the air that i breath,
And your all that i need,
So stay by my side,
and from your love i shall feed.

(i love you David, you don't know how much i care and probably never will) xx

    I think this poem is pretty good, I liked the rhyming, and the lines were very sweet. I've been writing sad poems lately, they're addictive...so I know what you mean, sometimes it's hard to write happy things. But this one is really good.
