Why did you have to die on the inside

Why do you cry
did somebody die
yes on the inside
i say no go away
i just want to help
they say well i just want everyone to go away ok
but your sad
no i'm very sad and mad now just go get away from me
i just want my real mommy
but she's never coming back
daddy and the drugs killed
her yesterday
her loving smile has gone away
no more hugs
just loads and loads
of drugs
there to help me honey she says
but then daddy just has to pay more money
then he gets mad
and who does he hit
not you me
i'm the one that pays the price
your the one that rolls the dice
