I Finally Found You...

Never thought that I would find
The one who'd steal my heart
Someone who I could give my love
Right from the very start

It seemed like there was nothing left
All hope was gone from me
I'd never find that special guy...
It wasn't meant to be

But then one day, to my surprise
Inside my world you came
And from that moment, I knew that
I'd never be the same

I've found who I have longed for
And I thank God we're together
I love you more each coming day
My heart is yours forever

Definitely not my best, but it's the first happy poem I've written in a very, very long time. =)
