Numbness

by Robert Spence   Sep 27, 2006

Numbness, feelings I cant overcome,
A number of things I have said and have done,
Children playing, couples skating,
I still feel nothing, excruciating.

An endless stream of empty blood,
A wordless novel, a heart of mud,
A transparent window and a blank reflection,
An eternal dessert of absent affection.

A world full of hate and I long to cry,
Long to love and long to die,
I need help, somebody please help me try,

I still feel numbness, and dont know why.
