Fall's Glory

by *Charisma*   Sep 28, 2006

Seems that smiles grow more here
As we pass this time of year
My favorite season I can't deny
And I know the reasons why

Light sweaters and denim jeans
Leaves falling from the trees
Good hot chocolate in a mug
I'm wrappend in a blanket snug

Colors splendid take over earth
Love the beginning of fall's birth
Chilly walks warm me inside
Autumn gives the best of life

The ground is covered with earth's paint
Giving no reason for complaint
Happy children jump in leaves
Raking up the clothes from trees

Animals are out and about
Storing up for winter's drought
Fall gives them all they need
Plumping until spring's seed

It seems the perfect time of year
All is well when fall is here
Those few months that it's around
Are the best of times I've found
