Don't Leave Yet

by Gem   Sep 29, 2006

I'm trying to imagine
A world without you
But then come the tears
Obscuring my view

But maybe that's a good thing
So I don't have to see
You lying there so helpless
This wasn't meant to be

You're still pretty young
Compared to other Nan's
You can't leave me yet
I grip hold of your hands

I'll never let you go
I need you to stay here
Granddad needs you too
You can't just disappear

I know that you can hear me
And I know you won't give in
We're all right behind you
We won't let this thing win ©

(My nan might be facing cancer according to the doctors and she's very ill as it is. But I'm not going to give up hope until the fat lady sings. x)
