Paranoia

by Gem   Oct 3, 2006

(I'm not sure if it's under the right catagory but i put it here because the feelings in this poem can lead to depression x)

She sits up all night waiting
Paranoia running through her head
The clock strikes half past one
Now she should really get to bed

She knows exactly where he is
But it doesn't feel right at all
Because he's at a strip club
Tears are starting to fall

She knows it shouldn't bother her
But it still gets her down
Her fiance ogling naked girls
Her self esteem hits the ground

She has no doubt he loves her
But now she's beating up herself
Wondering if when they're making love
He'll imagine she's someone else

So she goes to bed to try forget
Hoping sleep will help her heal
Men just don't have any idea
Of the insecurities women feel ©

(I don't where the subject for this came from but it makes sense to me. RR&C if you like x)

I think it SHOULD bother any woman. It's not right whether the man is in love with you or not...almost like having an affair and we all know THAT'S not okay. So an interesting write that really makes you think and gets you upset! Jpoet*
