My Unspoken Desires,,

He told me that I am the only one,
That there was no other
He made me feel so damn good
I could not possibly ask for more

I gave him my heart
So he could love me forever
For him that was the best Christmas present
Or at least that is what he said

How could I be so stupid?
Believing all his alibis,
When he was out with her
I was at home loving him even more

Alas now my heart is broken
Nothing can make is whole
And now I want my heart back
He is not taking good care of it,
Anymore

    I know what's it's like to feel the emotion in this poem.
    And the way you wrote, just brought all of it back.
    That's talent if you can dig into somebody with just a few stanza's.
