Never Will They Get a Chance

She hides her face from all,
With makeup and with lies,
The mask never comes off,
No matter what he tries,

He gazes on her face,
So gentle, but with lust,
His expressions are true,
He just has so much trust,

Never, will he understand,
Never, what she feels is shown,
For her face is always a blank,
Her emotions aren't ever known,

But some is his doing too,
Never, does he tell her,
What he truly feels inside,
So days just go in a blur,

So they look at each other,
Sneaking a quick little glance,
Neither one has the courage,
To give the other a chance.
