Glance at Me

by x.Athame.x   Oct 17, 2006

As I try my best to be subtle,
But still be gazing at you,
I come to ask myself how,
How can you not see the desire,

How can you not see the flame,
How can you not see the passion,
My heart is bursting open,
And you just sit here quietly,

You look into my eyes,
If they are windows to my soul,
Well then you should know,
'Cause hun, my soul is screaming,

You just instead flash me a smile,
Is that it? A smile and look away?
I stare at you, with an aching heart,
And you glance at me, with nothing.
