Truest Lies [Acrostic]

by HOLLYWOODxBANGBANG   Oct 20, 2006

Truest Lies.

T he ink scribbles onto pieces of tattered paper
R usted with memories of the past,
U ndone between the lines of scarlet and ivory.
E legance is ignored - words shout out.
S top! she whispers under her breath
T ainting the words in her heart with ink.

L ies are told, the truth behold - - she must believe,
I n you, she believes in you and me.
E very word spared, is a person short of breath,
S houting to the world - - she longs to be heard.
