My Suspicions

by *Charisma*   Oct 23, 2006

I ask you again if you are all right
And get the same answer as before
You can't fool me with that look in your eyes
There is definitely something more

You smile at me as if everything's fine
You say I'm blowing things out of control
Nothings wrong, you've no reason to cry
And there's not anything I can console

But I've been married to you for ten years
And I listen to my intuition
Your words are just talk you're spilling here
And I've got a suspicious suspicion

You're lying to me and I don't know why
I thought trusting is what lovers do
But I guess when I go to sleep tonight
I'll hug my suspicions instead of you
