Night Lady

"Lady of the Night"
October, 2006

The Lady of the Night, comes with her gentle touch,
Musky, flowery scent, that can give off such a rush,
Dark locks of ebony cascade gently around her face,
Green eyes that are so gentle; make men's hearts race,

Under the misty, moonlight filled midnight sky,
Where the dark bats do love to oh so swiftly fly,
She can be found walking among the dying trees,
Feet crunching upon their brown newly lost leaves,

Wrapped in her dark cloak of pure and black night,
When she is around, there can be seen no light,
Her full and crimson lips, like a rose, oh so soft,
The owls find her shoulders, on which to loft,

She moves oh so softly though the dark night,
Until the land is touched by mornings first light,
Then she disappears so quickly, without a trace,
Only thing left is the memories woven like lace

Seems sinister and haunting, but has a special kind of beauty about it
