Say Goodbye To Hollywood

by Gem   Nov 1, 2006

She smiles into the camera
And strikes yet another pose
Cut! That's a wrap people!
This is the job she chose

A job where it is required
To smile and act all day
Even if she's feeling down
Her smile must never stray

At first her life was brilliant
Full of parties, glamour and glitz
But now it's starting to take its toll
She's sick of the battles of wits

Being unable to do certain things
Not allowed to do what she wants
Getting snapped with no make-up on
Means weeks of insulting taunts

Never wear the same thing twice
That's a photographers dream
She's getting sick of the showbiz world
Where nothing is what it seems

So there's one thing left to do
To make everything all right
Say goodbye to Hollywood
Farewell and good night ©

I liked this. Not many ppl think of that side of fame. I think you really nailed that feeling, lot of ppl have in Hollywood. Great work. Also have to say, i love your quotes, can't coment on those, so i'll do it here.
