Fiery Anger

Feelings crumpled, firmly tied in knots
Tears streaming down scrunched faces
Friendships at breaking point once again
Slowly unraveling a shoes sturdy laces..

Perplexed beyond my usually good control
Asking myself why we were ever friends
Tearing apart our millions of memories
Now too late to repair or to make amends..

Hatred pulsating through my heated veins
Eyes glaring icily into the head they despise
Fiery anger lingers throughout my body
Going to the bathroom, wiping teary eyes..

Asking myself how this fight ever began
Muddled thoughts creating fog in a mind
Fuming beyond belief, yet crying inside
All promises and memoirs start to unwind..

Wishing she would change her spoiled ways
Grow up a little; be honest and try not to lie
Say she is sorry more, and be a proper friend
But until then, I am afraid this is goodbye..

    Aww. It's so hard to lose a friend that's been good to you for so long. I know my friends and I are going through some 'issues', but the remainder of my friends are working together to help each other through each day. I just hope you can do the same. =)

    This poem was...wow. I dunno. I felt as if it was the story of my life. I don't know why it's rated so low, but I gave it a 5/5. Maybe some aren't touched in ways that others are. I thought this poem had beautiful imagery, and a lot of people could probably relate very closely. Well done. =) 5/5 xoxo
