Pains of the Heart Never Sleep

Glistening blade, oh so sharp
Give to me your secret kiss
Pierce my heart oh so deep
Let me have eternal bliss

Crimson rivers; skin so white
Pain swells in gray cold eyes
Black tears drip down so steady
Leave ashy stains to show I cried

Wounds of the flesh heal in time
Provided they are not too deep
But those of the heart never heal
Those pains, m'dear, never sleep

    Wow ! I'm falling in love with your poetry and I'm adding you to my favorites! The only thing I would change is in the last line: Those pains, m'dear, never sleep--- I would replace "m'dear" with "just" or "will"... Other than that, Incredible write!
