Goodbye

This is my way of saying goodbye,
though missing me is unlikely when im gone,
this is my way of saying goodbye,
next time i see you ill be with god.

this is my way of saying goodbye,
im so sorry i left it this long,
i continued to try and make this work,
when i knew it was oh so wrong.

this is my way of saying goodbye
as i clutch my pen in pain,
life will be better for you without me here,
from my weakness you will gain.

ill always love you darling,
even though i shall die,
ill love you forever no matter what,
and this is the best way to say goodbye.
