Within Bodies

by The Queen of Spades   Nov 8, 2006

Her heart, dark
Against his weary mouth
And the troubles
Of yesterday--gone.
The strife they share
Is shed
Along with their clothes.
His burning desire
Is her freedom,
Their liberation
From the ugly past
And when his coldness
Enters his warmth
United they stand
Unaware, unsure
Of what was past
But ready, together
To face the future
